BASIC FACTS ABOUT INDIA POPULATION & HISTORY. This is India History in Jesus name. It is, India is the second largest populated country in the world with over 4000 people groups , having diverse culture, religion and languages. With less then 3% Christians, India continues to be a challenge for missions. Many people groups , cities , towns and villages today are still without any Christian witness and are in disparate need of hearing the gospel. India is populated with more then one billion people most of them are Hindus ( Heathens). There are 7,00,000 villages only 3% are Evangelical Christians. The remaining 97% of the peoples are not Christians. These 97% are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains , Parisis , Bahis, Lambadias and Sikhs. Over 500 million have never heard the name of jesus. There are 1644 languages and dialects. But the holy bible was printed only 30 Languages . over 15,000 people enter eternity with out jesus every day. The sun, Moon, Starts, Pigs, Cows and Monkeys considered as Deities ( Divine).In India more then, 350 million God’s and Goddesses. Even Snakes and Some Animals like Cows and Monkeys are considered as Divine. Such is the pity with our heathen people. They don’t know the Gospel of Jesus. This is our Indian Nut shall in jesus name.
